Warranty
Subject to the conditions set out below, Safety Electrical Services Pty Ltd, trading as CareAlert ("CareAlert"), guarantees all products to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of 12 months parts and 12 months labour from the date of purchase. This is a back-to-base warranty — repair or replacement work is carried out at our facility.
This warranty is provided in addition to, and does not limit, any rights you may have under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL). Under the ACL, you are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure, and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have goods repaired or replaced if they fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
The following conditions apply for the warranty to be valid. The product must have been used in accordance with the operation and instruction manual supplied. The original purchaser must be able to supply proof of purchase, including the date of purchase, when making a warranty claim.
The warranty does not cover, and may be voided by, any of the following circumstances. Accidental damage, power surge damage, acts of God, misuse, abuse, incorrect installation, negligence, or failure to follow the instruction manual. Any attempt to repair the product by anyone other than a CareAlert-approved service agent will also void the warranty.
Subject to any applicable statutory provisions, CareAlert is not liable for any consequential or contingent loss, personal injury, or death arising directly or indirectly from any defect in the goods supplied.
Freight and transportation costs are the responsibility of the owner until the fault has been assessed and confirmed by CareAlert. CareAlert accepts no liability for any damage that occurs during transit to our facility.
If you believe your product is faulty, please contact our support team in the first instance on 1300 75 85 95 or at office@carealert.com.au. Our team will assess the issue and advise whether a return is required.
If a return is necessary, please package the product securely in its original box and send it to the address below. Include your proof of purchase, a ticket or invoice number if provided, and a written description of the problem and your contact details. You will be notified by our team once the goods have been received and assessed.
