Press the waterproof pendant anywhere in the home or garden and the CareAlert Home Alarm base unit immediately calls for help — no landline needed, no phone to find, no buttons to remember. Watch what happens next: a trained operator at our 24/7 Australian monitoring centre answers, speaks to you through the base unit, already knows your name, address and medical details, and can send an ambulance and let your family know.
Prefer to keep it in the family? The same alarm can be set to call your chosen contacts one after the other, with Triple Zero as the backup — and unlike most personal alarms, it can still reach Triple Zero even if the SIM has no credit, is damaged, or has been removed altogether.

Does it need a landline or NBN connection?
No. The CareAlert Smart Dialler operates entirely on the 4G mobile network. No landline, no NBN, and no internet connection is needed at any time.
What happens if the SIM runs out of credit?
This is one of CareAlert's most important exclusive features — the Smart Dialler will still call Triple Zero (000) even if the SIM has no credit, has been removed, or the mobile network is down. No other home alarm in Australia offers this guarantee.
How far does the pendant work from the base unit?
The pendant works up to 150 metres from the base unit — covering your entire home, backyard, garden, and garage. If you go further than this, consider the GPS Go Anywhere for full mobile coverage.
Is fall detection available?
Yes — an optional fall detection pendant is available as an add-on. It automatically triggers an alert if a fall is detected, even if you can't press the button. Contact our team to add this to your order.
Can it be monitored 24/7?
Yes. Connect it to our 24/7 Australian monitoring centre for a guaranteed response every time. Plans start from $35/month with the SIM card included.
Could this be funded through My Aged Care or NDIS?
