Safety Electrical Services has been honored with several awards, including the prestigious Australia Day business award, for its successful operations.
In 2003, Mike Steele decided to semi-retire, but his passion for safety and security brought him back to the field with the creation of CareAlert, a smart dialler that provides peace of mind and cost savings to its users. The inspiration for CareAlert came from the need to offer an affordable and reliable emergency dialler for his elderly mother at the time. To meet the needs of the Australian community without high costs or fees, Mike designed a user-friendly and easy-to-order smart dialler. CareAlert is now recommended by various private and government care agencies, including hospitals and retirement villages, and has provided peace of mind to tens of thousands of individuals.
Mike was determined to give CareAlert unique features that its competitors did not have. As a result, the CareAlert products are regarded as superior in operation and reliability, making them the preferred choice of the Australian public.
Today, Mike's son Darren has taken on the responsibility of running the day-to-day business operations at CareAlert. Together, Mike and Darren continue to seek out new opportunities with those involved in Aged Care or the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS). They remain committed to promoting safety and security in Australia, particularly for the elderly, and providing innovative solutions to meet the needs of the community.
