CareAlert "FREE System – Just Pay for Monitoring" Offer

Terms & Conditions

By proceeding with this purchase, you agree to the following terms and conditions of the CareAlert “FREE System – Just Pay for Monitoring” offer.

1. Offer Overview

• Customers receive a CareAlert Personal Alarm System for free when signing up for a 24-month monitoring contract. (CareAlert unit may be refurbished)
• The customer agrees to pay a monitoring fee of $45 per month or $120 per quarter for the duration of the contract.

2. Payment & Billing

• Payments will be automatically charged via the selected payment method.
• Quarterly payments require upfront payment for 3 months of service.
• After the 24-month period, customers can continue monitoring services at a discounted rate of:
  • $30 per month, or
  • $300 per year.

3. Early Exit & Cancellation Fees

If the customer wishes to cancel before the 24-month contract is completed, the following early exit fees apply:

• Cancel within 6 months → $299 exit fee
• Cancel within 12 months → $199 exit fee
• Cancel within 18 months → $99 exit fee
• Cancel after 24 months → No fee (contract fulfilled)

Alternatively, the customer may purchase the device outright for $399 to cancel the monitoring contract early.

4. Service & Monitoring

• Monitoring services are provided 24/7 by CareAlert’s chosen emergency response team.
• The system must be properly set up and tested upon receipt to ensure functionality.
• If the device is lost or damaged, the customer may be required to pay a replacement fee.

5. Transferability & Ownership

• This agreement is transferable to a family member or another approved user (programming fee of $49 applies).
• The customer does not own the device until the 24-month period is completed or the device is purchased outright.

6. Warranty & Support

• The CareAlert system is covered by a 12-month warranty for manufacturing defects.
• Warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, neglect, or unauthorized modifications.

7. General Terms

• This offer is subject to availability and may be withdrawn at any time.
• By ticking the agreement box, the customer accepts these terms in full.
• CareAlert reserves the right to update these terms with notice.
