Returns and Refunds
The CareAlert Smart Dialler is a high quality, Australian Standards Approved product and we are confident you will be pleased with its performance. If for any reason it does not meet your requirements, you may return it within 30 days of the invoice date for a refund, subject to the conditions outlined in section 2 below.
Refunds are processed electronically by crediting your bank account, PayPal account, or the credit card used for the original purchase. We do not issue refunds by cheque or money order.
To be eligible for a refund, the following conditions must be met. The product must be received by us within 30 days of the date shown on your invoice. It must be returned complete, in its original box, unmarked and undamaged, and accompanied by your original tax invoice and a written explanation of the reason for return. The product must be securely packaged for return postage.
A non-refundable handling, reprogramming, and return postage fee of $40 applies to all returned products. For purchases made via Afterpay, an additional 5% surcharge applies.

For products purchased through My Aged Care or NDIS funding, refunds will be directed to the relevant funding body — not to provider accounts. This is a legal requirement and applies to all government-funded purchases regardless of circumstances.
Please note that SIM card fees and pre-paid monitoring fees are non-refundable under any circumstances. This applies whether the return is within the 30-day guarantee period or otherwise.
All cancellations of products or services must be submitted in writing by email to office@carealert.com.au. Verbal cancellations cannot be accepted. Once your cancellation has been received and confirmed in writing by CareAlert, the relevant return or cancellation process will be initiated.
This returns policy does not override your rights in relation to faulty goods under the Australian Consumer Law. If your product develops a fault, please refer to our Warranty page for the full warranty claims process. Faulty goods are handled separately from our standard 30-day returns policy.
