"000" CAN BE PROGRAMMED INTO YOUR SMART DIALLER

The Emergency Services have viewed the CareAlert Smart Dialler as being of suitable technical quality to allow it to be programmed with "000". However it is a requirement of the Emergency Services that this number only be programmed into the dialler as a final number. In other words it should only be the last number programmed after relatives and friends phone numbers etc have been used.

Should the Emergency Services receive a call from a CareAlert Smart Dialler, they are not in a position to attempt to make 2-way communication, however, they will treat the matter as an emergency and will in the first instance send an ambulance to your premises. It should be noted that unless you have ambulance cover, you may be charged for this call-out.
